Your role as Office Manager

We are seeking a motivated and highly organized Office Manager to join our dynamic team and ensure our office space is an environment to thrive. You will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our office, supporting both administrative and operational tasks. Your proactive approach will help maintain the quality of our office environment while ensuring that our team can work happily and effectively. This part-time role is ideal for someone looking to contribute meaningfully to the success of our company.

Bringing enthusiasm and eye for detail to the office floor. By ensuring our office runs smoothly, you’ll directly contribute to the efficiency and productivity of our team. Your organizational skills and attention to detail will help create a pleasant, safe, and professional working environment, making a positive difference to everyone in the company. You’ll be a key player in supporting our day-to-day operations and employee happiness.

Key responsibilities

  • Oversee daily office operations, ensuring a clean, safe, and well-organized workspace.
  • Coordinate with cleaning services to maintain office hygiene standards.
  • Manage grocery orders and office
    • In the future also providing a tasty lunch for our Explorers to enjoy
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations.
  • Manage incoming calls and emails
  • Schedule and coordinate internal team meetings and events.
  • Support insurance claims processing.
  • Manage office equipment distribution (phones, laptops, etc).
  • Arranging employee gifts, cards and flowers on occasion.

What you bring

  • Experience: 3-5 years as an Office Manager or similar role within a structured corporate environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business administration, office management, or a related field is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Social person with great communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with team members and external partners.
  • Problem-solving skills, self-motivation, and the ability to work independently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to work onsite at our office in Centurion.
