Your role as Functional Tester

For our Quality Assurance team we are looking for a Functional Tester with a passion for Software Quality and Scrum. In this role you work in a development team and, in addition to the role of tester, you sometimes also take on that of scrum master!

Your responsibilities:

You work in a Scrum team and develop IT applications and solutions;
Reports bugs and works closely with developers for resolution.
Focuses on testing user interactions and workflows
You carry out technical and functional tests per sprint;
You organize or carry out performance stress tests for the acceptance of the applications;
In addition to testing, you take on the role of scrum master, where you guide the Scrum team in the working method and relieve the team of impediments.

You will be involved with great local clients like Life Healthcare, Bayport and more. Or for Dutch companies like KLM and ASML and others.

Our team now consist of over 35 colleagues soon to hit 40! We are working with both government clients and large commercial companies, offering a wide range of assignments

You

Hold a completed bachelor’s degree or higher in a technical studies.
Have at least 1 year of experience as a Tester in a development team;

Are curious, result-oriented, persistent, and structured;
Have experience with manual testing preferably in a scrum environment
Have knowledge of Azure DevOps/Jira.
Have proven experience within a Scrum team;
Acquired QA certifications such as ISTQB or TMAP, this is a plus. If you don’t have any certifications you need to be excited to obtain them
Same for scrum certification such as PSM or SCM (PSM or SCM)
Domain knowledge of the insurance, financial, or logistics industry is a plus;
